Orrery is a small, finished desktop tool. These terms are deliberately short and plain. By downloading or using Orrery, you agree to them.

The app is free

Orrery is free to download and use. No feature is locked behind payment. The optional one-time license is a way to support the project and quiet the in-app reminder — it is a supporter unlock, not a paywall.

The license

A purchased license is for your personal use. One key works on every platform Orrery supports. Please don't resell, sublicense, or publish your key. The app does not gate any feature on the key, so an unactivated copy keeps working.

Payment & refunds

Purchases are processed by LemonSqueezy, the merchant of record, under their terms. Pricing is a one-time $19.99 (taxes may apply in your region, handled at checkout). If Orrery isn't for you, email hi@getorrery.app within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you — no interrogation.

Updates & messages

While running, the app may check getorrery.app for a newer version and for short in-app notices, and send an anonymous usage beacon. What that involves — and what it does not collect — is described in our Privacy page.

Provided "as is"

Orrery is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. You run it at your own discretion. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app; where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Changes

These terms may change; the date above will change with them. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
